Parking

Upon your arrival at the Saint-Raphaël Golf Club, please proceed to the parking lots. Parking attendants will guide you to assigned parking spaces.

 

Bag drop

Head to the bags drop counter where you will be greeted by our hospitality staff. Don’t worry, your clubs will be delivered to your golf cart, while you will be directed to the Registration & Check In area inside the Clubhouse.

 

Check in & registration

Immediately upon your arrival at the golf club, we kindly ask that you please check in at the Registration Desk (at least one hour prior to your tee time).

 

Locker room service

Men's and women's locker rooms are available.

 

Golf carts

Golf carts are provided ... All carts must stay on the fairway – and off the rough. Please use marked entrances only and do not drive golf carts under the ropes.

 

Soft spike policy

It is mandatory that all players wear soft spikes or spike-less shoes during the tournament.

 

Golf club rentals

A limited number of golf bags and clubs are available for rental during the tournament. If you are interested in this service, please indicate your requirements by June 5, 2017.

 

Practice facilities

Now that you are all ready to go, why not hit the practice facility and take a few swings prior to heading out to the course? Professional golfers are also on site to answer your questions.

 

Brunch

A brunch will be served prior to your tournament inside the Clubhouse – Michaelangelo Room. 

Playing format

This is a Shotgun start, best ball tournament. Players record their score at each hole.

 

Welcome remarks

Twenty minutes prior to the shotgun start, we ask that you be seated in your golf cart to receive final tournament instructions.

 

Silent auction bids

You will be able to bid on silent auction items throughout the day directly from the golf courses via your own smart phone and/or a number of iPads available at a few dedicated holes.

 

Cocktail & awards reception

After the round, you will be invited for a drink and a cocktail-style dinner (no pre-assigned seats) that will be hosted on the terrace – or in the clubhouse depending on the weather - followed by a brief awards presentation and live auction. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Air Canada Foundation Closest to the Pin Contest and other competitions. Dress code is sport/casual.

 

Weather delay policy

Should we experience adverse weather conditions; we respectfully request that you please still show up at the golf course. Often, weather conditions may change in a short period of time, and we will not let the poor weather get us down as we are all committed to the success of the tournament to help even more children in need.

 

Cellular & smart phone policy

For your pleasure and that of your fellow competitors, the use of cellular phones while on the golf course is only be permitted for silent auction bids.

 

Photography

You are welcome to bring your cameras on the courses during the tournament. The Air Canada Foundation has also hired a photographer who will take pictures of each contestant during the competition. Following the tournament, participants will receive a group picture by email, and more pictures will also be available on aircanada.com/foundation a few days after
